Objects of Desire

Ostracizing begins and the world transmutes into a habitat of uncivilized beings; people who are depthless, void of intellect and, worse of all, begging for attention like strumpets ready to be humiliated. The deafening outcries of the poor without the means to purchase the latest in brands are lower than those who can. Because the people who get to be in the superficial limelights wail non-stop like grownup babies, validating their presence with ridiculously high-priced synthetics that are, in reality, nothing more than just objects of desire, products of affections.
